Our Journey
Sewa Mandir was born from a dream envisioned in 1980 by Shri Satish Verma in Ajmer, Rajasthan. With a mission to find inner freedom through natural healing, the idea was to create a sanctuary for those suffering in body, mind, and soul. This powerful vision soon gained support from philanthropic individuals and evolved into a holistic institution named Sewa Mandir.
From its humble beginnings, the initiative saw steady growth. The name Sewa Mandir gained popularity in 1982, became a formal charitable trust in 1984, and attained its registered identity as Sewa Mandir Foundation in 1989.
Our Philosophy
At the heart of Sewa Mandir lies a simple yet profound philosophy — to go beyond oneself to serve others, embracing compassion, human values, and holistic well-being. The foundation believes in promoting health through natural, complementary, and alternative therapies, focusing on the wholeness of body, mind, and soul.
Key support came from the Toshniwal Family, whose roots are deeply connected to Ajmer. Their contribution in the early years helped lay the foundation of the present majestic form of Sewa Mandir.
As the world moves toward globalization, Sewa Mandir challenges the dependency on conventional medicine by reviving interest in natural, untreated, and unaltered methods of healing. The belief in complementary medicine, coupled with the gift of ageless ability, defines our core approach.
